What to Expect at Ridgeline

Listen.

Although most of the treatment occurs in a gym setting, the initial assessment is performed within a private, comfortable office space. You will have a full 75-minutes to express your concerns with a provider who is truly listening. No computers are ever open or distraction from other patients or providers. We go in depth on you as a human, including topics like stress, sleep, nutrition, and optimizing your time outside of physical therapy to help you heal as well.

Assess.

Next, we will run through a comprehensive full-body assessment based off your main concerns, health history, and goals. The movements will be activity or sport specific to ensure our treatment plan aligns with your expectations. Our goal is to find any movement deficits or limitations that may be influencing your pain or recurring injury. We will find objective measures to allow us to evaluate progress throughout our care to ensure we are on the right track.

Build.

Together we come up with a plan that fits YOUR lifestyle and needs base off our activity-specific movement assessment. Our goal is to build. Whether that is confidence, strength, mobility, and/or resilience. You should return from your care at Ridgeline better than you were before pain or injury arose.

 FAQs

  • The initial evaluation is about 75-minutes, sometimes closer to 90. The follow sessions are all 60 minutes.

  • The clinic is inside Seacoast Athletics, however the office space is completely private and has a separate entrance if needed. This allows privacy for the situations that require it!

I will always ask the patient if it’s okay if we go out into the gym area if I feel like that is indicated - most love it! There is a separate area we utilize with weights and bands for physical therapy. It definitely doesn’t feel like a traditional PT clinic but it’s awesome!

  • Not at all! I am very passionate about using movement to address pain and dysfunction, however that looks very different for everyone. My goal is to find movement and treatment that you find enjoyable and valuable in your journey. And sometimes, movement isn’t the most essential part of our treatment. It all depends!

  • It’s not for everyone and I recognize that! What I can promise is that you receive individualized, one-on-one care that really challenges you without pushing you too far. Morgan’s knowledge of exercise and experience coaching allows her to provide more activity care for many people. You also have direct access to me at all times via a phone app which allows for great accountability and better outcomes in a shorter time.

  • This totally depends on your goals and level of pain/injury, however, on average most people complete 6-7 sessions. Some people only need one and I LOVE when that happens, and some people benefit from closer to 10-12 sessions. We will have a better idea of this after a FREE discovery call or our initial assessment together.

My goal is not to have you keep coming back to see me! I would love to give you the tools to return to what you love doing with no pain and then be here when you need further guidance or an adjustment.
